Commissioned by the Forestry Commission for the Wyre Forest in Wales, this 10 metre freeze is part of a 46m long timeline - every 10 metres depicts 1 billion years of life on earth. Visitors follow a rope and along its length discover rubbings, illustrations, facts and rocks that represent the era. It was described by the head of the forestry commission as “the best timeline he had ever seen”.
