About me
I love painting and I love the natural world. As a wildlife artist I hope to share my passion for both with you.
Working mainly in acrylics, my images are bold, colourful and full of life. I also specialise in botanical watercolour illustration.
Brought up in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, I moved to Bristol for my degree in graphics and illustration. I currently live in Stroud, on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds, but am happy to travel anywhere with my paintbrushes!
Before going freelance, I spent 16 years with The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust as their Head of Interpretation, designing, producing and project managing illustrations, murals, graphics and exhibits for their 9 centres around the UK, including The London Wetland Centre, a multi million pound visitor centre and wetland creation development which brings people and wildlife together.
Clients include;
Whipsnade Zoo
Caerleon Roman Baths
Shropshire Wildlife Trust
Science Projects
Surrey Wildlife Trust
The National Trust
The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust
Norfolk Wildlife Trust
Cotswold Water Park Society
Thames Water
Gloucester Cathedral
Worcestershire Council Countryside Services
Southwark Council
Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership
Dunalley School
I have also completed many private commissions for wildlife murals and illustrations.
